Aboriginal people have been here since time began, living harmoniously on this land. My ancestors walked this land for many thousands of years. The ariwork print on this t-shirt is called the Meeting of the Rivers. This is a meeting place, located where the Rocky River flows into the Clarence River. All surrounding tribes came together to dance, sing, exchange gifts and meet for ceremonies. My people hunted for many years on these rivers, and still hunt today, passing down their knowledge to the younger generations. The main source of bush tucker is the fresh water turtle (Binging), catfish (Wugan) perches, mullet and eels.
