'Meeting of the Rivers' by First Nations Tribal Artist William Walker
This is a meeting place, located where the Rocky River flows into the Clarence River. All surrounding tribes came together to dance, sing, exchange gifts and meet for ceremonies. My people hunted for many years on these rivers, and still hunt today, passing down their knowledge to the younger generations. The main source of bush tucker is the fresh water turtle (Binging), catfish (Wugan) perches, mullet and eels.
